I knew Frontierland was on the “endangered Land list” when I saw that all images of Davy Crockett were removed from Crockett’s Tavern in Ft Wilderness. I asked a castmenber why, since Davy Crockett was a childhood hero of mine, and I was told “because he carried a gun.” Can you believe that? A frontiersman carried a rifle! Oh, the humanity! And Tom Sawyer used politically incorrect language for today. So what! This is our heritage!
