It doesn’t matter what side he is on, Disney would have issues the same ban, if they applied it inconsistently, then he would be correct to demand an apology, but they don’t. Any political rallies, etc will result in a lifetime ban.
If he wants the state go after Disney, he needs to remember that Disney brings more money to the state. If people want to regulate what goes on, do you need your HOA approval to change a light bulb? Remember folks taxation without representation is the cornerstone of our country. Just think that Disney has solar farms that power 2 of their parks. How many cities or municipalities have that on or in their offices are run on solar power. We are after all the sunshine state.
I would echo the 3 comments I have just read. To me it sounds like a publicity stunt that was not well thought out on the part of Mr. Fishback, or his support staff. If this an indication of what he would do as the governor of the state, I would say thanks to the Disney establishment for bringing this to our attention. If there is to be an apology it should come from Mr. Fishback to Disney for: A) violating their policy of not allowing politics into WDW, and B) infringing on the expectations of the guests at WDW to be in a place free from this kind of unwanted, and unwarranted disruption of their Disney experience.
You’re all wrong! If Kamala Harris would of did the same during the last election she would of been welcomed with open arms.
How does Disney having solar power benefit the state of Florida? It takes away taxed revenue from publicly held Power companies that could employ taxpayers and add to Power companies coffers to invest across the state.
Of one doesn’t think Iger and company isn’t biased, you may think about getting your head out of the Florida sand.
So if someone insulates their home or lowers their thermostats in the winter or raise them in the summer, I would be wrong to do that cause I’m taking away jobs? You are not using very good logic. Disney is not a place where guests should be bombarded with politics. This was just a stunt so he could play the victim. Mr. Iger should stand his ground. This “candidate” is a bully.
Disney has strict rules against solicitation on any of its properties. This includes political ones. Mr. Fishback was in the wrong. Bob Iger doesn’t owe him any apology. If anyone owes an apology it’s Mr. Fishback for violating the rules. Politicians are not above the law and need to be treated like anyone else.
Fishbine was a smug a$$hat in the video, and that’s coming from a conservative centrist. He was clearly looking for some free air time and wants more. If he doesn’t want to abide by a private company’s policy, especially since reps are usually on the side of law & order, I certainly would not want him as my guv’ner.

Take the political crap somewhere else. Leave Disney out of it. You have the rest of the state for that.

Thank you! I also agree with all above, but I think you worded it best. Definitely better than what I was going to say!

DO NOT APOLOGIZE! A publicly stunt pure and simple and once again shows the stupidity of the Republican Party.

I was thinking a screen name of “RagingRepublican” , but your suggestion is definitely better 🙂
