Kind of should have done these characters in the first place – as from a merely common sense point of view there are millions more long term Star Wars fans who grew up with the original trilogy than there ever are fans of the Disney trilogy. You’d think someone at Disney would have spotted that fact too when they first launched Star Wars land. If they had, Disney probably wouldn’t have had to close their doomed Star Wars hotel failure as they’d have had far more interest from the get go.
    Oh dear.

It’s kinda funny that you say this, there was a team behind the creation of a Star Wars theme park and they based it on the Original Trilogy. It was nearly completed when high command of Lucasfilm (won’t mention names) found out and decided the theme park needed to be based on the new stories and not the old ones. The team was ordered to scrap it all and start over.

Source: gonna be hard to find I think because this was way back in the mid 2010s but a YouTube video covered it in the late 2010s.

Shelving one of the most dynamic characters in SW lore is sad to see. Kylo Ren/Ben Solo, the only true Skywalker, should be an integral part of the future SW stories.

He’s the worst character in star wars history. Literally a Darth Vader rip off.

I’ll be honest, I absolutely hate this. The theming across the entire land, being set in a single period of time, really made it feel like a real place. Now it’s just going to feel like a gimmicky cash grab.

I’m not sold on this. They aren’t erasing the sequel trilogy, as those events still happen in the land with Rise of the Resistance and Rey and others will still be there but making Kylo only be there in the ride, and removing the first order troops is a mistake. I’ll like seeing legacy characters but changing it up so both timelines happen in the same place is a mistake imo and will be confusing.

    Too little, too late.
When Mando n Grogu goes woke, and none of your “new” demographic fans pay to see it, congrats. You will have killed the best Franchises on Earth, until… this. 🙄🙄

My admiration for Luke Skywalker and his Jedi powers was rekindled by the final Episode of Season 2 of Mandalorian. Wow, what a story! I am looking forward to him being there. And I want to see more of Mandalorian and Grogu. I am hopeful that the new Mandalorian and Grogu movie is a lot more like Season 2 and a lot less like the Woke Season 3. A New Hope for the Star Wars franchise is emerging with Kennedy and Iger’s retirement.

Star Wars fans are the worst. You say you like something then someone says you’re wrong for liking it.

Amen… sad that people can’t just have fun and be curious. It would be nice if the political people would keep that out of fantasy and leave it on Earth.

Getting rid of Disney’s Star Wars sequel trilogy is impossible since it actually has major live-action movies.

Lol; anyone that uses “woke” in a comment can and needs to be disregarded. Using that term to label something signifies lacking brain power and is a joke; not a good one I might add.

  9. They should’ve thought of it before thinking they release the sequel trilogy in the sequel trilogy.
