Limit one per person. The end. No more mass crowds. No more reselling. No more crazy prices for the people who have to buy it off market because they can’t take off work to buy pins. My mom bought a Winnie the Pooh pin board back in January 2025 and was collecting the monthly pins to put on the board. Bad April came around and all of a sudden everyone wanted them. Did they even have a board to put them on because they sold out of those early. It’s ridiculous and it needs to stop. My brother works security there and he says people line up in the early am hours and wait hours in line before downtown even opens.

I am absolutely SICK and quite DISGUSTED with the pin traders. They take up EVERY bench in the shade at Epcot and they WILL NOT trade with anyone unless you have something they don’t have (which is rare). My son wanted a couple pins from a few of them and they all told him no. These people have books beyond books hundreds (if not thousands) and won’t trade with children. One couple even gave me attitude. I don’t even worry about the pins anymore. They’ve made it NOT FUN!

  3. Do it by mail 1to a customer .Period.

Limit TWO (one to keep and one to trade) max per person per month to prevent “hoarding”. Do a lottery system or pull a number (like they do at bakeries/food service) for line que to each location. Drop Only ONE design per month. Have pin traders register online each month to receive confirmation number/line que number/scheduled time (like doctor appointments)/do by birthday (month & date) priority (open registration (first two to three hours to those born in that month) online a month or two weeks before pin drop) to receive confirmation (like order/reservation numbers) number.

Another marketing strategy – give annual (all levels) pass holders priority registration for pin drops or have box office stamp annual pass holder tickets for pin drop with time stamps. Thus can also be done for regular admission tickets as well. Time stamps will be like fast track que. This will work with Disney Hotel Reservations as well for out of town pin collectors. Good Luck pleasing everyone on first Tuesday months!

Just get rid of annual passes period. That would resolve most issues including the over crowding. It’s the pass-holders that are killing the parks.

Probably the stupidest comment yet! Most pin collectors who converge on Downtown Disney aren’t annual pass holders and that why they show up and make moving through DTD ia fricken nightmare!

So how do the wristbands help this situation?

I’m retired from Disney and would love to sell my pins. Some are cast exclusive. Where to people sell their pins?

How and where do you get the wristbands?
