I am daily appalled by the lack of empathy and etiquette displayed by the public towards service workers in any industry. It has to be doubly hard at any Disney property where the employees anonymity is part of the job. Disney needs to be more supportive in protecting their employees.
I know of a guest who nicely complained they were going to remove monsters inc ride from California Adventure. The cast member yelled at her. I’ve seen cast members abusing guests many times. Cast members are on a job, not vacation, not “entitled.” Obviously with extreme abuse, cast members should not have to allow. However, this lazy, entitled generation seems to think they have a right to everything except hard work, service to customers, and study in school.
