I am thankful for the security of these checks. It’s sad that there is so much violence and evil lurking today, and knowing Disney is actively taking precautions is assurance. It might help guests not trashing the lovely rooms we pay so much to stay in while visiting Disney.
M family and I don’t mind at all. We understand and appreciate it. Since we only bring items that we will naturally need for our trip and nothing of any questionable content, I have no problem with this! Thanks very much for the information💗
This doesn’t bother me at all. As long as they don’t take any of my things I don’t mind that they do these security checks. When it comes to dogs (as far as I know) if it’s one of those helping dogs that people that are blind and/or have some heath issue that they need to have their dog with them then the pets have to stay at the pet hotel. There is one right near Port Orleans River Side. It’s really nice. I’ve taken my puppy there a few times and the cast members there are really nice and love pets. Again, I could be wrong that dogs aren’t allowed in the resort rooms/guest rooms unless it’s a seeing eye dog and/or some other dog that has been trained to deal with certain health issues.
I would suggest putting a necktie on the door handle along with the “room occupied” sign.
Wouldn’t want Mousekeeping to see a couple getting “jiggy” with each other without some notification.

That’s fine, however, what do you do for the several resorts that allow dogs?

That’s fine, just don’t want my dog surprised by an intruder.

Let me guess, you’re one of those kind of people that has a “service” Chihuahua

Let me guess, you’re one of that kind of people who use the plural “those” with the singular “kind”.

What does Universal have to do with Disney world? Are they now part of Disney?

It is no different than going on a cruise where you have cabin service included with your own attendant for the entire cruise.
