  1. But what do I know

Amazon might be the better fit……

Disney is being broken up and so are the other media giants under antitrust. Disney will shrink and go back to the 20th century and I myself will be taking it over and gaining the majority of the shares. There will be no more consolidation of media and they will all become stagnant and not allowed to grow.

I think Netflix should only aquire Disney’s streaming service and forget the rest. Maybe they can improve Star Wars and Marvel

      A) they can’t
      B) Disney already did. Only stupid people say differently.

Wouldn’t this come even closer to making Netflix a monopoly? Then they can charge whatever they want.

I am glad Netflix dropped a Fox deal, their liberal left leaning would have crippled Fox News, which is the only outlet to level the biased media field. America does not need another Disney/ABC clone.

The shareholders will not approve such a thing. Walt would be turning in his grave.

“Disney’s carefully curated family-friendly brand” LMAO thats funny.

I thought the same thing. At one this was a true statement but not anymore.

  7. Daryl-Rhys

That would legitimately be the worse thing to happen.

I’m not too sure what to think about this. My feeling is that Walt Disney would have never accepted any offer because he wants his company to remain private and family operated (which it isn’t family operated anymore). I do think that the Disney family is involved somehow in how the company is doing. How??? Not sure. I don’t think honestly that Netflix buying Disney would have been a good idea (now that I’ve thought about it). What does Netflix know about theme parks, cruises, and merchandise? It’s better not to but out Disney and leave the company alone.
