Y’all still believe Netflix? They literally kill popular series after one season. It’s their fetish.

From a business standpoint Netflix just bought themselves a powerhouse theatrical and physical distribution company something they couldn’t afford to do on their own, why does everyone think they are shutting down WB and HBO it makes the least business and logistical sense. Now they CAN compete theatrically and afford to. Why would they shut down HBO productions it’s a successful well oiled machine? Regular people that just watch things have lost their marbles, and so are Hollywood people. This purchase just makes them the same kind of studio Disney, paramount, Comcast Universal already are. Everyone has this twisted.

Netflix impact on theaters could go either way based on how they’re handling things now, like Knives Out. For years the system has only rewarded mega-blockbusters, eliminating almost everything that isn’t a superhero or similar; but this could go either way. Netflix is infamous for canceling any show that isn’t an instant success, but at the same time if they offer a profit path for small and med sized movies that have been cut out for a decade or so now that could be great. The rest of them haven’t been able to do that, Box Office success has driven some streaming but even then the biggest movies on the other streamers haven’t earned real money; Netflix has been the only one to report profits from streaming.
