They definitely are a hazard but instead of running around like your insane just watch where you are going and take your time. This isn’t a Disney problem it’s a you problem
Yes look where you walk but, if pressed, couldn’t the Inagineers fill the gaps between the trolley rails & the pavement with some clear material so the gaps are ‘gone’ but the tracks could still be seen? Because they are part of WDW & even Disneyland which I first visited in the 1960s.

My first time at Disney World was Christmas, 1993. Returned many times since then. Never had a problem with the tracks. Some people are just looking for a big payday. Use normal caution and the tracks aren’t a problem. Common sense seems to be taking a back seat to greed in some cases.
I suppose that if these are removed then someone will come along and complain about stumbling over the curb? Doesn’t common sense come in somewhere along the way. Accidents do happen, but are law suits always the resolve? I am sorry when someone gets injured but often the blame game is not necessary.
This is sad. I think that (in some cases) society has become too lawsuit happy. They want to find something to complain/sue about in some way. Common sense seems to be a part of the past. Now, it isn’t used as much. I’ve never really had an issue with the trolley rails. In fact, I think that it makes Main Street USA look exactly how it was planed to look like. The early 1900’s. I can understand that it can be a bit of a danger but, just look down people. Really!!!!!!!!! Come on!!!!!!
Let’s just get rid of ALL railway tracks, regardless of location. These tracks are clearly visible and common sense says caution should be heeded.
Would this person sue a RR company if they tripped on tracks while walking in their own neighborhood?
The answer most likely is, no.
Someone is looking for a payout, even if it’s a “go away” payday.
I call BS. I have a mobility issue and wear a leg brace. I have NEVER had an issue with those tracks being there. Never tripped…..maybe if this person was actually watching where she was going……

Leave it to some klutz and her ambulance chasing lawyer to ruin things.

The tracks will not be removed and I look forward to the Trolley Show returning. The lawsuit will be tossed.
