As of Sunday, December 21, thousands of potential Walt Disney World Resort guests are officially locked out of the Magic Kingdom on Christmas Eve. The news comes weeks after the Central Florida Disney park made a similar announcement about entry restrictions for Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve, two of the busiest days of the year at The Most Magical Place on Earth.
Christmas Eve at Magic Kingdom

Walt Disney World Resort’s website now shows that multiple types of ticket holders are no longer able to make reservations for Magic Kingdom Park on Christmas Eve. First up, let’s look at the availability calendar for non-date-based theme park ticketholders (guests with date-based single-park and Park Hopper tickets are not required to make reservations).
Non-Date-Based Ticketholders

Non-date-based Walt Disney World Resort theme park ticketholders can no longer make reservations for Magic Kingdom Park on December 24, 2025. Reservations remain available for EPCOT, Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park, and Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
Annual Passholders

Three of the four tiers of Walt Disney World Resort Annual Passholders are blocked out of Magic Kingdom Park from December 21, 2025, to January 1, 2026: the Sorcerer, Pirate, and Pixie Dust Passes. The Incredi Pass is the only Walt Disney World Resort Annual Pass that allows guests to visit the Magic Kingdom during the busiest and most wonderful time of the year.
However, as of December 21, Annual Passholder park reservations to the Magic Kingdom on Christmas Eve are officially sold out. The date joins December 25, December 30, and December 31, all of which sold out weeks ago.

Incredi Pass holders can still make reservations for Magic Kingdom Park on December 21, 22, 23, 26, 27, 28, and 29. However, guests should act quickly, as the week between Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve tends to sell out.
How to Get Into Magic Kingdom Park on Christmas Eve

If you’re hoping to get into the Magic Kingdom on December 24, limited options remain available. Incredi Pass holders with reservations for EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, or Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park can Park Hop to the Magic Kingdom anytime after tapping into their selected theme park. However, if Magic Kingdom Park hits capacity, they may be refused entry.
Guests with date-based Walt Disney World Resort theme park tickets (typically included in a Disney Resort hotel package) do not need park reservations. They may visit the Magic Kingdom on December 24, as long as the park doesn’t reach capacity.
Families who want to experience exclusive holiday entertainment, such as Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade, are encouraged to arrive early and prepare for potential long lines and crowded walkways. Utilizing services like Mobile Order, Advanced Dining Reservations, and Lightning Lanes can help make the day more bearable!
