Very simple- if you easily get so “offended” by anything …. don’t click on it, don’t watch it, don’t listen to it, or ride it! And stop ruining it for other people!

    1. Oh really

Not these days. One person triggered and it’s bugger-all for the rest of us.

      Agreed.

When anything happens regarding this ride, the author is quick to bring up past comments that have nothing to do with the issue of the day. And yet Disney allows this salacious writing/reporting.

As to which ride is better, Disneyland of course with both drops, a little longer journey. Wish Disney would bring back the holograph image at the start of the ride.

That’s because this author is a mentally ill person who finds something wrong and offensive with EVERYTHING. She is destined to be single and have multiple cats.

  3. It’s a shame that one voice can make such a Change…So How about ” Millions” of Voices saying STOP Catering to the Few and STOP F….ING with Walt’s Magic..

Disney and this author suffer from mental illness. When you give in to these people they NEVER say – ok now its okay they move on to the next issue. The only way to defeat these people and they need to be defeated – is to IGNORE them or better yet tell them to “F” off. This crap has infiltrated EVERY aspect of our culture. Someone (mental case) will find an infinitely esoteric thing to become offended by and devote their life to it – shoving down regular normal peoples throats.

I’ve never understood why people continue to do anything that they already know offends them or they don’t like. It’s getting ridiculous. There are a lot of things in life that offend me but I don’t go on and on about it. Some of the things people get offended by are true facts in history and we can’t re-write history just because you don’t like some of the things that happened. Leave Disney’s history alone and stop catering to those that ride it every time they go when they know already know they don’t like it. I think some people just have to be miserable and they want to ruin things for others. If you don’t like what’s on TV do you sit and watch the show over and over just so you can have something to gripe about? Please consider the majority of Disney fans Love the ride just the way it is.

So I guess the guests that feel the ride is “too rapey” (whatever THAT means) don’t pay attention because the VERY NEXT scene shows the women CHASING the pirates away with brooms and such. Please people – grow the hell up and stop being offended by EVERYTHING you see in life. It’s really not healthy n

Simply ridiculous that any ride has to be adjusted to meet the needs of a few guests. Its a ride and for decades no one has found it offensive. The ride depicts a scene that may have occcured nearly a century ago.. If you find the ride against your morale standards DONT RIDE IT. Disney should not have to cater to every woke moron who visits the park.
