I would have called a Minnie Van and then went to front desk at the resort and politely asked to be reimbursed for the cost. Honestly though, it is seeming that the non-Disney owned resorts near Disney Springs are becoming the best value overall, they have better, more reliable transportation, are far less expensive and some even include extra evening hours like the deluxe resorts do.
I’m here reminding people DAN you will WOKE embarrassment of a person that people are just tossing money at this Company when they do not care about the “Guest” anymore. Nowadays it’s more like you are a customer then a guest at Disney World or any Disney Theme park or Resort

This is obviously an unusual situation. However it should be clear Disney has shifted from a guest relations and exceptional experience model to a financial gains and stockholder appeasement model. IMO, if Disney continues on this path, both models will fail.
