You may be willing to pay these prices if you are not a regular visitor to Disney meaning you may visit every 4 t 5 years. DVC members joined to be able to visit more often and are not just people living in Florida or nearby states. The prices have become ridiculous and no longer do we come to Disney yearly since we are from NJ and since it is too costly especially since we come with the kids and grandkids. The last trip where 12 of us went cost over $15,000. This was for tickets to the park, airfare, and 2 character dinners for the grandkids. The rest of the time we ate at the fast food restaurants or ordered out. That cost was without the hotel fee since we are DVC members. Probably in the next few years we will sell our membership and use the money elsewhere. It has become a place where the middle class is being priced out.
