The holiday season is in full swing at Walt Disney World, with thousands of guests choosing to spend their Christmas vacations at “The Most Magical Place on Earth.”

It’s no surprise how crowded the parks be during the holidays, but it’s never not fascinating to see just how hectic Walt Disney World can get.

One guest shared an incredible photo of the large holiday crowds on Reddit. In the picture, hundreds of guests can be seen waiting in line for a bus at the Magic Kingdom following the park’s Very Merry Christmas Party.

The crowds didn’t just affect wait times for buses, but rides and attractions too. Another Reddit post showed Living with the Land boast an impressive 85 minute wait time. The slow-moving water ride takes guests through EPCOT’s greenhouses, providing a fun and educational experience centered on agriculture.

During the holidays, the ride turns into Living with the Land – Glimmering Greenhouses, sporting special festive decor. The attraction rarely sees wait times above 25 minutes, but Living with the Land certainly gets more popular for the holidays, as seen here.

While EPCOT, Animal Kingdom, and Hollywood Studios are all popular, things are on a whole other level when it comes to Disney World’s original theme park.

Magic Kingdom is already one of the world’s busiest theme parks, but it gets even more hectic around the holidays. It all starts with Thanksgiving, which then leads into Christmas and then New Year’s.

During the months of November and December, Magic Kingdom hosts its annual Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. Much like Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, the Christmas festivities are locked behind a separately ticketed event that begins once Magic Kingdom closes foe regular guests.

The party includes special entertainment, dining, and shopping opportunities, as well as an exclusive nighttime firework show and parade.

Disney’s Jollywood Nights is also happening at Hollywood Studios. This party is a newer addition to the resort, debuting in 2023. Despite a shaky first year, the event has quickly become a fan-favorite, with Jollywood Nights being a good alternative to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.
