Agree. Next those disrespectful buffoons will find a way to snuff out any memory of Walt Disney and the innocence of the children he gave the children. Next, the powers that be will convince an uncaring public that they are responsible for the entire idea of Diney.

Just as well, Uncle Walt would want nothing to do with the conglomerate which has destroyed his dream. Yes, Parks are still open but have been priced out of reach of average family.

      Ditto

      1. How dare they disassociate Walt’s name. If it was not for him there would be no Mickey a no Disney parks

Totally. DVC memberships have been going downhill since they realized their responsibility is to make sure the those who are not DVC members but $$$$$ are better taken care of and the DVC people are poor relation. I knew $$$$ would talk eventually and the regular people would be an after thought. After twenty years of DVC it seems very apparent they do not want families who save three or four years for one week. The stink is getting stronger.

I can’t think of anything more wicked than removing the name of Walt Disney from the parks of the company that Walt built. It was a decision of brotherly Love by Roy himself to name the Florida property “Walt Disney World,” and America loved it for generations. These people, who are systematically dismantling the work of those two wonderful brothers, and cleansing the company of any memory of Walt, are wicked to the core. They are also cowards to wait until now to try to do something like that, which they did because they knew that if they set it up front they never would have been tired to begin with. These swine should all be fired in disgrace and charged with massive criminal mischief against the Walt Disney company, which is a felony, and if the amount of money that is affected, they should spend the rest of their lives in prison. And Bob Iger is the biggest swine of all.

  4. Obviously the mmanagement at Disney were not paying attention last summer when Cracker Barrel tried to change its logo and redesign its restaurants. Stock and customer purchases plunged and has never recovered. Perhaps Disney executives need to learn same lessons.

Can’t France pass a law proclaiming Disney cannot name the park Adventure World? Literally the worst name DIsney could have conceived for a theme park.

This is absurd and I can tell you it wasn’t a shareholder decision. As a shareholder, I never received anything asking for a vote on removing “Walt Disney” off anything!!! Walt was/is the company!! Iger needs to GO IMMEDIATELY, before he does anymore damage to the company. And his being a part of the movie, just an attempt to lock him in in the future. He’s become a wart on the company.
