As I’ve seen first hand this was probably the result of a family with kids not able to view the parade and feeling their kids should have been put into the front. The crowds at Disney are tough and when those do not get what they want or get what they think they are entitled to some degree of recourse is take which is what happened here. On top of that as a cast member being paid a low wage in a state that is overwhelmed with tourists and high prices. I am always trying to help the elderly staff that is on clean up.
Sadly, good manners are becoming a thing of the past. So sad to see so many that feel “entitled” to leave their.mess for someone else to clean up. I consider those people to be PIGS, because that’s exactly how they behave.
we are at the parks every week, at least one of them…….People just leave garbage anywhere even if the trash cans are right near them………..It doesnt take but a minute to take care of your trash………at hotels its the same especially with large groups of kids……….the adults with them just leave the mess instead of making them clean it up
I have witnessed this behavior for years but it has really gotton bad within the last 5 to 10.I went to use the men’s room at Hollywood studios near where the big sorcerer hat was and as I walked in a teenage boy walked out of a stall,I went in and it had been urinated on the seat and floor,I yelled for the kid to stop which he did not a security guard asked what was wrong I told him and he retrieved the boy ,took him back to the restroom and made him clean it under the supervision of a custodian and kids parents, this was at the early age of Hollywood studio so it probably would not be allowed now.Im going to say something that many may feel has nothing to do with the problem but he it is , it seems to me that the higher the cost to get into the parks the more intitled people feel they can be,I pay 120 a person you are not going to tell me what I can and can not do and I will act anyway I want I paid to get in and I do not care about anyone else…this is the sad but true feeling of some,I am in no way we’ll to due I work two jobs and have to put away to go to Disney but I will be darn if I would disrespect ir allow my child to disrespect Walts home and the enjoyment of others,Disney needs more security and needs to enforce the rules and regulations that are in place, yes they want to be nice and friendly but there is a time to be nice and a time not to be nice.if they are so worried about the bottom dollar they need to get back to old Disney and clean up their act and hold people accountable for their actions
I’m not too shocked about this. I’ve not been been in the parks in two years now but, I can still remember being at Animal Kingdom and seeing a bunch of guests leave their garbage on the floor and/or on the tables when the trash can is about a foot away from them. People are just way too lazy!!!! Get off your rear ends and throw away the garbage. GEEZ!!!!!!!! I feel so bad for other guests that do respect cleanliness and that at least try to show some appreciation towards the parks and the cast members. Maybe they should hire more undercover cops. Those cops will stop the guests that leave their trash and make them clean it up. And, if they don’t, then they’ll have to pay a fine for each item that they’ve left on the tables, sidewalks, floor, etc. Maybe if Disney did this people would start respecting the parks more and the people that work there.
Use undergrounded and above cameras …..broadcast to workers…find the “piece of crap” people as they walk the park or exit…you’re welcome to video anything myself and my family might do!!! There’s no reason to show respect to people who are this ignorant!!!
It is terrible it should not even be an issue Some people are spiteful self entitled Put heavy fines on guests doing the littering vandalism all the nonsense will stop mighty quick if it effects their wallets
