  1. RESPECTFUL animation that is Western style could work very well but the problem is the girlboss rubbish will be maintained due to the real life girlbosses like Kathleen Kennedy.
Star Wars in the 1980s was a male brand.

Overproduction and underperformance have ruined both Star Wars and Marvel. Using the “multiverse” approach is both lazy and a money grab. It’s just too bad that there is so little creativity at Disney that they cannot bring fresh ideas to the table. Walt Disney himself detested sequels.

I’m a woman and I enjoy watching the sequels so I can drool over young Obi Wan, lol. I can’t drool over all these crappy girlbosses altho I’m sure there’s garbage women that do.
Star Wars isn’t the only TV show created mostly for men that I watch just so I can crush on the cute men and enjoy the drama of them being the heroes. I’m sick of girlbosses. I don’t mind certain ones like animated Mulan but not all these mass produced ones like Frozen, Moana, remade Lilo and Nani, remade bo peep and so on.

Star Wars died the day Disney got their greedy hands on it and milked it drier than the Sahara desert. I don’t watch any other SW other than the six original movies. Anyhing else means nothing to me.

The two biggest things they could do to improve, if not reboot, the Star wars franchise are:
Number One, and most importantly, Get rid of Kennedy and any of her hand picked team.
Number Two, maybe let the animated series writers and directors have a shot at creating the new live action movies, or at least coming up with the scripts.
