You Only Need To Ride These Disney World Attractions Once

These Disney World rides are a one-and-done for us.

Walt Disney World is home to dozens of iconic rides and attractions, ranging from thrilling roller coasters to slow-moving dark rides. While each one is fun in its own way, certain attractions demand more attention than others.

Some of the most popular rides at Disney World include Pirates of the Caribbean, Expedition Everest, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, Haunted Mansion, and Rock ’n’ Roller Coaster.

However, certain rides are really only worth enjoying once, maybe twice at most.

We know it’s iconic, but this is a one-and-done for us. It’s classic Disney, but there’s only so much you can get from this short attraction.

We’re not saying skip this one completely, but we definitely don’t recommend doing this one over and over.

Mad Tea Party

The same goes for Mad Tea Party. Another staple of the Magic Kingdom, Mad Tea Party can be seen (and heard) right in the middle of Fantasyland. This means the attraction is very popular, usually sporting a 30-minute wait (at least).

The ride is nothing special, as it’s actually something guests might see at a local state fair or carnival. It’s the Disney theming that gives it its charm, but there’s no denying that this attraction is dated, clunky, and really only worth one spin.

When you ride it, you’ll know what we’re talking about. But we definitely don’t recommend lining up for this one over other, better attractions.

Look, we understand that Soarin’ is popular and beloved in the Disney theme park community. By no means are we saying this ride isn’t fun, or unique, or magical. However, we believe that you’re not missing anything by only riding this one time on your trip.

As long as you get a good seat, doing Soarin’ Around the World once is enough.

We feel the same way about Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance. Perhaps one of Disney’s best rides ever, Rise of the Resistance blends a number of different systems together to create a (mostly) seamless Star Wars adventure.

Nothing compared to the awe we felt the first time we hopped aboard Rise of the Resistance and completed our Rebel mission. However, doing this one back-to-back can reveal some of its problems, like malfunctioning animatronics and missing effects.

The craftsmanship that went into designing and building the attraction is otherworldly, and it stands as one of the best theme park rides ever built.

But nothing beats the very first time you experience Rise of the Resistance, so we actually prefer to preserve that memory by not overdoing it. If Rise of the Resistance happens to have a low wait time, we will hop aboard, but we won’t go out of our way to do this over and over.

Do you agree with our list?
