Disney Needs to build another park probably near a port in Texas that can act as a centralized birth location for Disney cruises. Walt took a swamp and made it into a Magic Kingdom. Those who are passionate about the Disney Experience can do it again out on the prairie.
Its interesting because people who know what the experience once was, can see how things have steadily degraded, especially post-pandemic. I understand the need to innovate, creat new rides, etc but the focus needs to be on improving the guest experience. The cast members used to actually care. Now many are snotty and apathetic. There were always lines but the crowds and the cost of lightening lanes have gotten out of hand. The experience just sucks now. There is no slow season anymore.
It definitely is a training issue. They are experiencing the same break in the chain of knowledge other businesses had after all the changeover that occurred during COVID. My guess is very few workers at Disney remain who know what the Disney experience used to be like. I’m a season pass holder and have absolutely noticed a major shift in employee attitude and skill. They really just don’t care. Disney needs to reach out to former star cast members and bring them back in to either work directly at the parks or at least act as QA/trainers. Disney… if you’re reading. Please take my advice. It’s all you need.
