A Wicked land, if ever built, will definitely be accompanied by a new sequel that’s not based on the original musical.

True, and even though the musical and the movie, at this point do not have any sequels or prequels in the works, it isn’t as though they don’t have plenty on which to base them. The bookmarked by Gregory McGuire has several more books on which movies could be based , so the Wicked phenomenon doesn’t have to end. Personally, I could envision the entirety of Expo becoming “Wicked-fied”. There would be plenty of room for Shiz, the yellow brick road, the poppy fields, Emerald City and Oz, not to mention flying monkey’s, apple throwing trees, a bat ride in front of Shiz, the house that falls on Nessarose. The Men In Black could be re-imagined and the ride rethermed. It’s a huge area, and has the real estate to handle all they could ever want or imagine. It would also bring more guests into the original Orlando park. Having it near Diagon Alley would align really well… that whole end of the park would be dominated by wizards and witches. What could be better?
