What is the point of driving over 100 miles a hour I don’t get it you put your life and the life of others in danger and I believe the fine should be more

    1. Plain and simple…..these people are total idiots. Their punishment sounds like a slap on the wrist…..I think the penality should be much higher. Make them truly accountable where it hurts….. their freedom and their wallet.

Nobody should be “driving through” that area if they have no business there. They pled not guilty. Give me a break. I hope they lose their licenses, vehicles and spend a month in jail. No leniency. That’s the law.

I was a cast member for years and would see cast members in costume driving 80+ mph in a 35mph zone around Epcot/ Hotel Drive – it’s beyond dangerous!
You have tourists who have no idea where they are going and then some kid speeding in and out of traffic running red lights- it was terrifying! I was relieved when I arrived at work alive! That was years ago! I agree the fine should definitely be higher than $500. And they should loose their license and confiscate their car!
Trust me, if they admit they had no idea it was dangerous driving 100+ mph in a 35 mph zone they shouldn’t be driving at all!
