If you went to Six Flags Over Texas you’d see how poorly these parks are maintained. Buildings are decaying. The log flume is rotting. Rides breakdown all of the time. It’s a mess.

It is is true that maintenance seems to be lacking. Though I hadn’t been to a park in a long time, about ten years ago a friend and I went to Cedar Point mind you were adults when we went there 60 some and it was the first time since we were 20. Riding the sky ride the tops of the buildings were faded and covered in bird poop I realized birds do that but I don’t remember it being like that before. A lot of the buildings the air-conditioneding didn’t work it was 90 that day. I believe this is to sell most of the parks the land they sit on is worth more than the parks. I think people doing this should be Flooged in public.

I honestly forget Six Flags Over Georgia is there most of the time… never hear of anyone going anymore…

When I was a young kid (1970s), my family lived in the Atlanta area and would go to Six Flags over Georgia at least once each summer. I ended up back in Georgia in the mid-1990s, and visited Six Flags in 1994 – the first time since 1979. It was NOTHING like I remembered. I didn’t feel safe, everything was dirty, and prices were ridiculous

Just checked.. it was closed due to weather… California does have a HUGE storm hitting it right now

  7. Cool

Deceptive lumping a weather-related 1 day closing here in California with the completely unrelated lawsuit. So what else is new on this site?

Magic mountain was closed for bad weather, my daughter was there on the 8th. They are also closed every wednesday, and most tuesdays and thursdays. I worked there in 1985, when they closed monday-friday from.September til May. Because 85% of there employees were high school students, they couldnt stay open year round

Good! Shut this all down! It’s ghetto & not family safe. I tried to cancel my membership for over 5 months. No answers from customer service, no return emails, nothing! Then they give you this bs “no refunds on membership.” I was a member for almost 3 years. I was asking for a refund only for the 4 months my request for help went unanswered! They all around SUCK

    1. Well, there is a big difference between Knotts Berry Farm and Six Flags .. Knotts is very well maintained compared to Magic Mountain but Magic Mountain has Wonder Woman & X2. Magic Mountain can be saved, it’s not that bad, just put a lil more care into it. It’s such a fun park and it’s huge. I prefer Knotts but I also love Six Flags

From Magic Mountain to Tragic Mountain? That would be a shame. To see all these parks being neglected is a tragedy. All those memories. This company needs to step it up.

“The answer, as it turns out, is tied to a complex undercurrent of financial strain, alleged mismanagement, and investor outrage that’s beginning to surface publicly for the first time.”

“It was closed today due to weather”
How does that relate to the class action lawsuit? Is the rain gonna sue six flags too?
