It is hard to imagine him coding any of the California parks. They always seem to be packed. A major problem with the park located closest to me (Discovery Kingdom) is crowd management. I’m a teacher, and when there are school trips, the kids complain that they only got to ride 3 rides in 7 hours because of lines. I chaperoned one trip where the kids tracked down the chaperones antic, a couple of hours before we were scheduled to leave, and said we’re done with lines. We are ready to go. From my perspective, Six Flags has atrocious crowd management.!They should take a look at how their competitors such as Disney, manages crowds. If young people are complaining, and reducing their time spent in the parks, that’s likely one contributor to Six Flags financial woes. Six Glags parks seem to host a lot of special events and school trips in mass volume, meaning there can be dozens of schools participating on the same day. They are good at cramming people into the park, but if it is too crowded to the point that nobody enjoys themselves, people won’t return. Closing parks may not fix much. They need to analyze how to increase attendance by providing a more enjoyable experience for guests.
The one in Bowie, Maryland should stay open. All they have to do is put new attractions renovate the park, rebuild it get new rides. I would love to see virtual rides. The ones in Orlando Florida. They need more family coasters that children and adults can ride. They need better food options.
This time they need to use all the acres 500+ not just 150 acres just for the theme park. They need indoor rides and water coasters.
If they take six flags down, the people won’t have anything to do that’s fun and adventurous. I’m willing to pay $150 for a ticket to get in as long as the park is upgraded with new attractions better food.
