Isn’t it obvious? This show was billed as a magician with the Muppets as guests. That’s exactly what they got. I’ve never heard of this guy and he was the star of the show? Has a magician ever been a Broadway star before? I’m sure they knew from the first show this wasn’t going to work out? The really sad part is they charged money to see it!
