Many families OUTSIDE of the Disney bubble have to have multiple incomes to make ends meet. I see no difference.

other outlets have reported on that as well .. no one is saying that it’s not happening elsewhere, but since inside the magic is focused on theme parks it makes sense for them to report on cast member issues ..

So many are escaping to Florida from left leaning high tax states and driving up demand for housing. Couple that with the higher end lifestyle that so many demand and yes, there will be an affordability issue. When I was at the wages of an early career, I lived within my means. A used car, little or no credit card debt, no Starbucks, etc. and you will be just fine.

Being a Castmember, unless upper management, is not a primary, full time job. It should be a part time job where you enjoy going to work and appreciate the perks like free park entrance and discounts. If you are working a 40 hour work week, full time job and still need SNAP to survive, it’s time to reevaluate your skill set, go back for more training or school and get a job that pays better. There are way too many opportunities out there to sit back and struggle.
