This does it. MCU no longer exists. Figured this sort of thing would happen when Stan Lee died. Go ahead turn it into Junior cartoons for the tween maturity level.

There is nothing historic about this.
Not every actor voiced their characters in the what if series either. Tom Holland doesn’t voice spider man in the animated show either. Hemsworth didn’t have time to do it and it was probably cheaper to have someone else since he was not contractually obligated to do it. The rest of the comments here are nothing but the whiney entitled nonsense of children who don’t know anything about the business that should just do everything they want. Spoiled internet brats.

Agree MCU is no more im afraid

    Just stop already.

  3. Stop with the cartoons. Marvelous live action now.

Having someone else do the voice for an animated character isn’t “recasting.” There have been multiple animated movies with Thor in it before Hemsworth, so does that mean those voice actors were “recasted” for him–no, it doesn’t. This was a massive clickbait article.

Alright Enough With The Marvel MCU recasting!!!
    Knock It Off!!!

  6. I hate it! Bring Chris Hemsworth back as Thor!

  7. Patty

Chris Hemsworth is the one and only THOR
    BRING HIM BACK

This series is definitely NOT aimed at “tweens.” It’s an adult storyline intended for mature viewers. Animation isn’t just for kids. It’s a fantastic way to tell stories that either cannot be or would be too expensive to do in live action. With the right creators, it can be as much, or even more, thrilling and emotionally moving as any live action work.

Patty – Chris hasn’t gone anywhere. Animation has lower budgets that often won’t allow for voice acting by top dollar stars. He’s still the one and only live action Thor. A different actor is simply doing Thor’s voice for this animated miniseries, that’s all. It’s done all the time.

Between money and the soft nature of society…. Real fans are better off with comic readings.

    1. No Chris Hemsworth then no MCU. You need to listen to the audience other there will be no audience.

  9. Sloth

no, i dont think we will….

ngl Zombies movie was pretty good even with the lazy, heavy CG animation.

Who cares. Disney didn’t create marvel neither did the Russos but they did assassinate it.

Blah, blah, blah … recasting looses audiences with loss of beloved actors who portrayed them. I’m getting super hero movie fatigue anyway! Eff off Disney!

  12. Anthony

Blah, blah, blah …. Recast the entire lot. Loose iconic actors people got use to. I’m getting super hero fatigue anyway! Bye Disney!

Never watch any of the animated movies, except the classics, snow white, little mermaid, Lion King etc.
The animated Star Wars and Marvel, I pass on all those, and again pass on most classic turned into Live versions.
You can take an animated and spend 3 years, and still a Star Wars or Marvel Live is so much better!
