Thanksgiving is still a week and a half away, and everywhere you look, it’s full Christmas mode. Stores have already started rolling out their Black Friday sales, and Disney World has completely passed over fall and moved right into its Christmas gear.

The parks are decked out for the holidays, with their signature trees making their debuts recently, and everywhere you look, it’s Christmas time at Disney World. Apparently, Thanksgiving doesn’t get its moment anymore, especially at Disney World.
It’s been Christmas mode at Magic Kingdom since the moment Halloween ended, but that was for a practical reason. Once Magic Kingdom finished its run of Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Parties, it was time to make the change and head into Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. And clearly, Disney knows what its guests want.

As of this afternoon, there was only one date remaining for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party at Magic Kingdom: Tuesday, December 16. The remaining dates of the party have sold out.
The ticketed after-hours event’s tickets are $219 for adults and $209 for children ages three to nine, the highest prices ever for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. This means Disney World is very close to selling out the 24 dates again, despite the increased cost.

At Hollywood Studios, the second night of Jollywood Nights has sold out. November 15 was only the second night to sell out, but it was also only the second after-hours party.
Unlike its counterpart at Magic Kingdom, Jollywood Nights still has four dates remaining in November and all seven dates remaining in December. Unlike Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, Jollywood Nights is geared more towards adults, and tickets tend to sell at a slower pace.

During its first year in 2023, Jollywood Nights did not sell out all its nights. Bad opening night reviews and the fact that guests didn’t quite know what to make of it likely contributed to a slowdown in ticket sales.
However, the party sold out all its 2024 dates, thanks in part to Disney addressing some of the issues from the previous year.

Expect the final date of Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party to sell out within the next few days, so Jollywood Nights may be the only party with availability soon.
