This reminds me of something that happened at Sesame Place in Langhorne, PA. It was the first year they were doing A Sesame Christmas in the park. During the parade The Count’s float lost power. Thankfully they were stopped at the moment. The park employees rushed in to safety evacuate The Count from his platform as his inflatable castle collapsed around him. They then set about securing the deflated castle. Members of the maintenance team came out and tried to get the float running again but were only able to restore power to the drive. They secured the castle so The Count and other characters could safely climb on the float and the parade continued.
