Scar Jo was horribly miscast in this movie. She’s a great actress but this is not her genre. Every scene she was in she seemed tired and bored. Maybe it was the director who had her do that, who knows. Mahershala Ali carried the entire movie. The actors playing the sailing family were all unknown actors. Rupert Friend is a brilliant actor, he too came off as bored and tire. Universal appeared to be squandering the Jurassic billions by hiring mostly unknown actors. The movie was a cash grab, horribly directed.
So over Dinosaur movies! Genres come and go! It’s not like we see biblical, westerns, musicals, or beach party movies anymore! Add dinosaur movies. Add Star Wars, Super Hero and Jack Sparrow pirate movies! 🥱
Universal owns Knight Rider, let’s get a movie franchise started with this, or the Six Billion Dollar Man, or perhaps a cartoon in live action like He-Man, it comes out soon. ThunderCats where are they at?
There’s so many properties they could dive into, just secure the rights and make something new and different. Look at Avatar, that was new and different in 2008, you need those same bold new ideas and directions.

Good thing your opinion means nothing. Everything your said is far from the truth.

I happen to agree with him, somewhat. I don’t know why they want to hire these unknowns, and script needed to be polished a few more times.

How is it dead in the water if it’s moving forward.
