    Parents: WATCH YOUR KIDS!
    Especially in unfamiliar places.

Shame on this family for blaming anyone beyond themselves!
Money sure does call to the gold-diggers and irresponsible!

That father should have been in the pool WITH those kids! He could have led them to, and left them in, a pool of piranha for Pete’s sake!

It was his duty as a parent to be sure that pool was a safe place for his young children!

The hotel cannot be expected to know in advance, how inexperienced a child may be in a swimming pool, or where a child will go, what a child is going to do! These are things the parent should know or be able to anticipate to keep his kids safe.

These “blame everyone but yourself” lawsuits really piss me off!

    1. Right there with you.

Why was Daddy not in the pool with his young children? Don’t put me on this jury. Crowne Plaza will win.

Parents fault! Dad was 10 feet away but too busy doing what to see that his child was in trouble? Sick of those people who blame everyone for their own shortcomings. RIP Little one

I can never figure out these parents with almost babies having their coffee or worse yet alcoholic beverages while their kids are in a pool? If he was 10 feet away he was too far away. They’ll probably get some liberal judge to give them millions! In addition I’ve been in a lot of pools that had water features. I never experienced a effect that tried to pull me down.

Hotels rarely have lifeguards. There is usually a big sign saying swim at your own risk. I assume this hotel has that sign, the lawyers would have insisted on it. I understand the man is hurting and is lashing out in pain but this is a fight he can’t win. Disney might settle with him just to end the bad PR but they aren’t to blame. Parents need to parent.
