That fits with what I’ve heard of him. I was introduced to him through Power Rangers (weirdly enough, Mystic Force first; I’ve still not watched SPD all the way through). I’m honestly glad for him to be introduced to a wider American audience.
Just because the original…and I’m very sick of having to label Disney movies as ‘ the original’ or ‘the remake’…was a massive box office sensation was not open invitation for Disney to try and make more money off it with a stinking, blankety-blank remake. I watched Moana on DVD when it came out and liked it but I’m not super fan of it. I do like the music however. But I didn’t bother whatsoever with the sequel as I’m tired of girlbosses and girlboss songs. My mother tried hard to get me to watch the second one with her but I kept refusing and she finally gave up. Sure as heck I won’t be watching the remake; I’ll leave that to the pathetic little sheeple.
Look I’m no fan of disney either but disney is known for their as you call them girl boss movies when it comes to animation movies geared towards girls. Yes I agree no need for this but as to be a jerk and not watch a movie with your mom over as you call it a girl boss movie is stupid. One you will wish you had that time with her. I like the fact that disney made some half descent movies for girls that dont say men bad or you dont need a man like some of their other junk. It was just good fun for little girls to fantasize and aspire to
Disney literally has nothing else better to do than to remake every 2D and 3D movie they ever made that is at least ten years old. When they finish destroying all the classics, what’s next? AI remakes of the remakes?
This remake is nothing but a cash grab. Both the first and second one made, unfortunately, over a billion dollars each. Therefore Disney saw the opportunity to do a live action remake and attempt to milk another billion from the poor dumb audience. They probably will, there’s so many Disney babies out there. I for one will not bother. If I want to see Moana I’ll watch the original. It’s not like the movie is that old to warrant a remake anyway. Like I said, it’s just a cash grab.
I honestly couldn’t care less. I’ve heard of the franchise but never watched any of them. There’s hardly any good original movies to see at the theaters anymore.
I’m so sick of these disgusting Disney adults with the minds of toddlers that keep fe eding these cash grab remakes! 😡😡 Leave original movies sacred for crying out loud!
Well if we did that we wouldn’t have gotten the classic Scarface with al Pacino which was a remake. I think they just need to do remakes of movies that might actually need one or could be done better but classic animation no.
What is everybody’s problem? Jeez. If people want to spend their own money to watch these remakes, let them. And if you don’t want to watch them or don’t support them making remakes, no one said you have to watch them!! I don’t understand why in every article about Disney remakes, anyone who is excited for it is put down, like do you people have nothing better to do? And no, im not saying I’m excited for this movie to come out either, I just don’t understand what is going on with how people act these days, what happened to respectfully agreeing to disagree? Like, seriously?
My family loved the first Moana but thought the second was meh. We will probably go see the live action version. That being said, anytime I hear that Disney is “reimagining” a movie, I get a feeling of dread. Looking at you Snow White.
I like that Disney is remaining true to the cultural heritage infused in the movie by casting characters representative of those cultures. Still wondering why that couldn’t have been done with Snow White and Little Mermaid.

Met John Tui this summer. Such a nice man and told him I was happy to hear about his part in this.

Need mental help, much? 🙄

Seems Like you need the help. Let other people have a good time, it’s none of your business.

Hilarious to have a white guy playing Maui just so the backfire and of the word keeping it culturally correct gets shoved into Disney’s face
Billy
The Rock isn’t a white guy, doofus

No bud, that 100% is you. Stop thinking your opinion is the only correct one. It isn’t. Don’t be the jerk I know you want to be
