  1. We love Disney

I’m guessing this is a prequel to toy story 4. The in between time of him finding bo and going to Bonnie as she grows up. I’m thinking that this Bonnie will be about 5-7 and is a child who still plays with her toys and has that imagination that hasn’t been affected by screen time etc. But this is Pixar and anything is possible in the Pixar world where it just doesn’t have to make sense. I’m excited for this movie and will be watching it with my kids in theaters. Growing up toy story was one of my favorite movies and something we still watch very frequently.

      You have my sympathy

Ugh. I kinda was hoping Bonnie wasn’t coming back 🤣. Bonnie drives me nuts.🤣As a millennial mom of young 2 boys and 1 little girl, I’ll watch it. My middle guy loves all toy story movies and I gotta see it too. 🤣🤣 my oldest may even want to see it. My youngest isn’t too young but she may watch spurts.

You have my sympathy, Disney adult.

Babies like you are the ones responsible for keeping these watery sequels coming 🙄 At least I have the willpower and moral fortitude to stay the heck away from such things.

I saw the AI gene rated trailer and I don’t care about the Disney babies crying oh boo hoo it’s my childhood. Toy Story and Toy Story 2 are my childhood to but this watered down sloppily writt en movie is NOT. I’ll be very proud to not be one of the wimps running to the theater with my binkie and pacifier to give Disney money for something that doesn’t deserve it.

Have some backbone and save your money, people. Wait one more month and this garbage will be streaming.

  5. Cindy

Passing this movie and watching the first two instead. Should’ve ended with the third. The fourth was sloppy garbage and apparently this fifth is to. No thanks, Disney.

  7. disney sucks

I did watch the trailer yesterday and I have to agree with others that say it looks AI generated. Hard pass for me, I don’t want to see Buzz anymore watered down like he was in the previous movie just so girlboss Jessie can save the world from Lilypad. Woody or no Woody, this is not my toy story. And thanks to all the Disney sheeple we are sure to get a toy story 6 about them all being donated to goodwill by Andy’s great grand child.

  8. disney sucks

I did see the trailer and I agree that it looks AI g*nerated. No matter how good the trailers will look I am passing this up. I don’t want to see my boy Buzz watered down anymore than he was in the fourth movie just so girlboss Jessie can save the toy world from Lilypad. And thanks to nostalgia sheeple like the first couple of commenters we will surely get a toy story 6 about Andy’s great grand child donating the toys to goodwill.

I don’t know why the comments won’t allow the word “gener ated” it’s not like it’s a swear word, nor is the word “stu pid” which is also not allowed.

To add, I just hope enough people will keep this movie from being a box office hit. But, I have no hope in humanity anymore.

    Everyone: Why is Woody back?
Disney’s answer: We want to get you hooked like fish on a line so we can reel you in and get your money, suckers! 🤣

I’m a bit too old for these movies, but I do find it so sad how many people spend their time hanging out on a site for a company they hate for the sole purpose of destroying other people’s enjoyment. Some of you need to take a hard look at why you find satisfaction and joy in causing pain. You are what is wrong with the world today. Not politics, not Disney, not AI. YOU, who genuinely enjoy spreading misery and hatred.

Aww, poor wittle weftist who got themselves offended. 🍼

    2. Anne

Vote for Harris, much? Btw, dum dum, people have every right to speak their opinion on something. If people don’t like something, they slam it. If people like something, they praise it. Get over it.

    3. K

The only people who enjoy spreading pain and hate are disgusting leftists like you who get your sensitive little feelings hurt by a cloud in the sky and blame Trump for it. Grow up.

The first Toy Story came out in 1995, the same year I was born. I grew up with it and the wonderful sequel. I had a toy of Woody, Buzz and Jessie.
In 2010, 15 year old me and my mother and grandmother went to see Toy Story 3 in 3D. It was a good sequel to the franchise except for the unrealistic demo and Spanish mode they gave Buzz.
Nine years later I wasn’t even aware they were making a fourth until my coworker came to my office and showed my the trailer on her phone. I didn’t go running to the theater for it and instead bought the DVD months later and watched it with my mom. It was an insult to the franchise. Having Woody abandon the child Andy bestowed him to was a downright betrayal to everything Woody ever stood for in the past three films. And making Bo Peep a girlboss and Buzz and indecisive weakling was a sacrilege to their characters.
When I heard they were making a fifth, I was like, “they can’t be serious”. The fourth movie was bad enough, we definitely did not need this.
My mom’s way more excited about this pointless movie than I am. I’ve already told if she wants to see it, she’ll be watching it without me, lol. I did watch the teaser yesterday and it didn’t excite me, even though they have Woody magically reunited with the toys.
Toy Story will always be a big part of my life and the first two movies will always act as my emotional support. But this fifth means nothing to me and I don’t want to see my favorite characters be demeaned anymore than they were six years ago.

I just want a 5th movie so it can fix the mess that was left by a 4th movie where the director clearly didn’t understand the characters or the message of the series tbh

      1. Terry M

Stoopid will not fix stoopid. In other words, the fourth movie should not have existed at all, and the fifth is probably going to make the franchise’s story worse. Not better. This is nothing but a cash grab. You want to watch it, you wait for streaming otherwise we’ll end up with Toy Story 6 thanks to sheeple.

      2. Jessica

No offense, but this fifth isn’t going to be any better than the fourth. Sure, they may bring Woody back in this. But it’s still an unnecessary sequel to an unnecessary sequel. Perhaps my imagination is better than most people but I can easily pass this movie up to pretend it doesn’t exist. I don’t watch the fourth anymore and can pretend that the first two or at least three and the three Pixar shorts are the finale of the whole story. I agree with other commenters, if you go to support this movie you are opening an invitation for Disney to make yet another unnecessary sequel. Toy Story needs to rest in peace, just like the voice actors of the potatoheads. When a franchise is drawn out too long, people will eventually grow tired of it, just like these constant reboots and sequels of superhero movies like Batman, Superman, Spider-Man… give it a rest.

The less that is said about Toy Story 4 the better. What a terrible movie that didn’t understand the meaning or message of the previous three movies. I want this movie to come out mainly so it can fix the mess it made

  13. Lynda

This movie is nothing but a cash grab to feed off the weak little nostalgia audience so that we can get a sixth movie, a seventh movie, an eighth movie and so on. Probably by the seventh they’ll be using AI voices to try and copy Tom Hanks and Tim Allen and the story will be about the toys trying to survive in the wilderness while the humans are completely controlled by AI.

  14. Lynda

This is nothing but a cash grab to feed off the nostalgia crowd. And when this unfortunately makes a million dollars off them we’ll get a sixth movie, a seventh movie, an eighth movie…Disney will be using AI voices by then to replace the deceased voice actors (and to save money) and the story will be about the toys trying to survive in the wilderness since the humans live on AI.

  15. K

This is nothing but a cash grab to fe ed off the wimpy nostalgia crowd so that someday we’ll get a sixth movie and a seventh movie and an eighth movie…by then Disney will be using AI voices to replace the deceased voice actors and the story will be about the toys trying to survive in an AI controlled world.
