The Walt Disney World Resort continues to find new ways to surprise its guests, especially when the seasons change.

This past fall, Magic Kingdom Park once again embraced its spirited side as Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party returned for 2025. From August 15 through October 31, the park transformed on select nights into a Halloween celebration filled with trick-or-treating, live entertainment, and exclusive character meet-and-greets available only during the event.
One particular guest of the holiday—Jack Skellington—drew plenty of attention with an updated look that brought him even closer to his appearance in The Nightmare Before Christmas, the 1993 stop-motion film directed by Henry Selick and produced by Tim Burton.
Voiced in the movie by Chris Sarandon, Jack’s redesigned face and costume were revealed through the official Disney Parks Instagram account, where fans immediately noticed the difference. Comments poured in, including “Awesome, he looks like himself now” and “Looks so much better.”

The refreshed version of the Pumpkin King became one of the biggest draws of the event, with guests lining up to snap photos with the character who has long stood as a Halloween favorite at the park.
But Jack’s time at Magic Kingdom isn’t over just yet. As the Halloween decorations gave way to twinkling lights and festive garlands last week, the same updated Jack Skellington has remained part of the fun—this time appearing in his “Sandy Claws” outfit for the holiday season.
The Disney Parks social media team initially confirmed that the newly redesigned Jack would return for Christmas at Walt Disney World on Instagram, where the seasonal cheer extends across the parks and into the hard-ticketed Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.

Responses from fans have been equally enthusiastic about the holiday transition, with comments like “HE LOOKS SO GOOD” and “Best redesign ever” celebrating the update. From Halloween haunts to holiday cheer, Jack Skellington continues to charm guests at The Most Magical Place on Earth.
Now, as the 2025 inaugural Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party took place last night, so too did the debut of Sandy Claws’ new look.
Where Can I Meet Jack and Sally at Disney World?
Guests heading down Main Street, U.S.A., have a new reason to stop by Town Square Theater—as this is where Jack Skellington and Sally are once again greeting fans, but this time with their updated appearances. Comments from a dedicated Disney World holiday party Facebook page suggested that the pair arrived on scene from 4 p.m. at the Town Square Theater and that the wait time quickly neared the one-hour mark.
Guests meeting the pair will receive a special autograph card, designed exclusively for the Very Merry event. One side features Jack and Sally’s signatures, joined by their loyal ghost dog, Zero, surrounded by festive touches such as ornaments and a coiled orange-and-black snake that nods to The Nightmare Before Christmas.

The meet and greet takes place inside Town Square Theater at Magic Kingdom Park, a fitting backdrop that lets guests step into a quieter corner of the party’s celebration before returning to the lights and sounds of the season. Whether you’re a longtime fan of Jack and Sally or seeing them for the first time, this autograph card offers a festive memento that captures the charm of the holiday celebration at Walt Disney World Resort.
