We went for Xmas season all the way back in 2000 so it was a confluence of Xmas and the Millennia celebrations. So pretty. But what I got from this is so much has likely changed and been modernized with “projection” and such… which can be cool, but something to be said for the traditional decorations, too. They probably could have found a new location for the Osborn lights…..
As a DVC member since 88 there’s nothing magic about disney anymore.osborne show was dismantled so now the best shoe in town is downtown disney or disneysprings. We club members pay for top quality yet most our perks have been removed and the projector and drone shows speak loudly of a lowrent section 8 budget show. Im more likely to visit disneysprings anymore than the parks
It’s pretty sad that the lights on Cinderella’s castle won’t be put on. It is a money issue, plain & simple. Yet Iger is taking it in and laying off more cast members. Laying off employees hurts vacationers. Less activities at the resorts, shorter park hours, yet costing more.
As woke culture now controls Disney Parks , Management and Designers soon any Christmas decorations will be doomed!! WOKE CULTURE has finally taken over Disney. Walt is gone and forgotten!!!
As long as Iger get his bonus and keep Disney Parks and everything else Woke. He don’t care about it, its not his money that we are paying for it every time we go there.
In comparison, the projection shows suck. Many times it is hard to even make out what images are being projected. The old fashioned light shows with music were the best. Like all corporations, greed got the best of Iger and the rest of the Disney group went along with him. Can’t wait till he is gone but unfortunately, the damage has probably already been done.

SeaWorld has the best Christmas displays and shows in Orlando, and it’s way cheaper than Disney.
