How much will it cost? We know it won’t be free.

Almost DME but not quite. Looks like luggage transfer but no mention of people transfer. Supriseingly, it’s for value resorts. In the old DME days each resort paid the cost. Signature resorts paid more for DME and had first drop-off for guest and value resorts were last. Something is better than nothing.

In trial it’s free until they monetize it.
Then it will slowly increase in price.

    Hard pass here.

Already pay for bags on flight, transfer by bus, or other, tip, seats on flight, three extra chances to lose my luggage, still up at crack of dawn on departure day.

Extra fee to eliminate one departure luggage line at the airport and carousel upon arrival. Guarantees over weight charge fees.

If it was truly a service for convenience to customers magical express would return as it was.
Rivers of America was destroyed not for lack of use, but because it generated NO revenue. No line skip charge, gift shop, food court.

Fees for this service will commence within one year of it full operating.

What smell do you detect when told they are testing a system that operated for 10+ years before they cancelled it to cut their costs ?
Using the Covid excuse to justify anything !

I’ve been using a service for bag delivery since the ME stopped running. I’m too disabled to manage my own bags. Even if Disney doesn’t charge for this, and they probably will, it’s saving me a whole $40 out of a vacation costing thousands. I’d much rather have the Disney branding and experience back on the Mears bus. It’s a distinctly non-magical experience compared to how it used to be.

Kennelly, I am in total agreement with you!
I so much miss the ME as I too have trouble carting luggage through airport and it was fantastic getting on those busses ready for us as vacation started at that point!

Nothing free is free. Just another gouge tactic

So a select service for one airline only for value resorts only but you still need to provide your own transportation for yourself from the airport. I don’t know about anyone else, but if you’re not giving me the full experience, I’d rather take my bags with me on the airport transportation as much as possible. Aside from the fact that Southwest doesnt fly to Orlando from my area. Call me when you get the full experience back.
