The news comes just days after rumors swirled that the new theme park land would premiere on March 22, 2026. However, Disneyland Paris Resort has only confirmed that the Frozen (2013) area will debut sometime next spring.
As exciting as the World of Frozen is, it’s just one part of the massive transformation of Walt Disney Studios Park at Disneyland Paris Resort. On the same day that the Frozen castle debuts next spring, the second European Disney park will also reopen as Disney Adventure World.
Like Disney’s Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World Resort, Disneyland Paris Resort is reimagining the park into an immersive journey into guests’ favorite franchises rather than a backstage look at the movie-making process.
The World of Frozen isn’t the only new area coming to Disney Adventure World. Disneyland Paris Resort has also confirmed that it’s developing a land inspired by The Lion King (1994), including a log flume ride. However, Disney hasn’t shared a grand-opening date for this area of the park.
With just months until fans step into the World of Frozen, Disney cast members are reportedly testing elements of the new theme park land, including its shimmering castle. On November 5, X (formerly known as Twitter) user @DLPReport shared this photo of Disneyland Paris Resort testing lightning on the North Mountain and Elsa’s ice palace:

The World of Frozen will feature two attractions: the Frozen Ever After boat ride and the Wandering Oaken’s Sliding Sleighs roller coaster. Disneyland Paris Resort has promised that the new land will open alongside the reimagined Disney Adventure World in the spring of 2026.
