Credit: DisneyJust in time for Christmas, one Disney park is replacing the popular snowman from Frozen (2013) with two characters from the upcoming sequel to Zootopia (2016). Here’s what guests need to know if they plan on heading to the European Disney parks later this month.
What Happened
At the end of October, the meet-and-greet with Olaf at Animation Celebration in Walt Disney Studios Park was removed from Disneyland Paris Resort’s entertainment schedule, effective November 26, 2025. Although the European Disney park didn’t publicly announce the closure otherwise, fans noticed that Olaf was back on the schedule, effective January 6, 2026.

Around the same time, Disneyland Paris Resort announced that it would celebrate the premiere of Zootopia 2 (2025) beginning November 26, 2025. Disney hasn’t said what it has in store for the celebration, but if it’s anything like previous limited-time events, fans can expect exclusive merchandise, themed food and beverages, and potentially a meet-and-greet with Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde.
Due to the timing, many Disney Parks fans speculate that the Zootopia characters will temporarily replace Olaf from the end of November 2025 to early January 2026. However, Disneyland Paris Resort hasn’t confirmed this.

More Frozen Fun On The Way
Frozen fans, don’t worry! Even with Olaf temporarily disappearing from Walt Disney Studios Park, Disneyland Paris Resort still has plenty of Arendelle fun planned for 2026.
In the spring, Walt Disney Studios Park will officially transform into Disney Adventure World. Imagineers have reimagined the second European Disney destination, changing a theme park centered on filmmaking into a series of lands that immerse guests in the worlds of their favorite movies.
When Disney Adventure World opens, it will introduce the World of Frozen, a brand-new land inspired by the hit 2013 film. It will feature two rides: Frozen Ever After and Wandering Oaken’s Sliding Sleighs.
Disneyland Paris Resort has also promised to bring a land and log flume ride inspired by The Lion King (1994) to Disney Adventure World. However, a construction timeline has not been announced.
Zootopia 2 Around the World
Are you a Zootopia fan on the opposite side of the globe? No problem! Walt Disney World Resort is celebrating the film’s sequel in a big way. On November 7, the all-new Zootopia: Better Zoogether! show premiered in the Tree of Life at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park.
The show features an advanced audio-animatronic of Clawhauser, like the one in Zootopia: Hot Pursuit at Shanghai Disneyland. It brings guests into Zootopia on “Zoogether Day,” and even rewrites the story of the fourth Central Florida Disney park to suggest that the film’s characters carved the animal statues into the iconic Tree of Life.
Of course, there’s also limited-time merchandise, food, and drinks inspired by the film, as well as a meet-and-greet with Nick and Judy in their Zootopia 2-inspired looks on Discovery Island.
