Disney Park guests may have to pay for the best view of their favorite Christmas entertainment, as the vacation destination has introduced a premium parade viewing experience.

As soon as Halloween ended, Disney parks around the world began preparing for the most wonderful time of the year. Walt Disney World Resort is just two days away from the first Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party event of the year, while Disneyland Resort’s iconic “Believe…In Holiday Magic” fireworks will return on November 14.

Across the ocean, Disneyland Paris Resort is preparing to dazzle guests with Mickey’s Dazzling Christmas Parade, which premieres at Disneyland Park on November 8. As with almost any entertainment offering at the Disney parks, the Christmas parade is included with every theme park ticket. Any guest willing to stake out the perfect spot on the parade route has the chance to take in the festive procession!

However, for the first time ever, Disneyland Paris Resort is reserving some of the best holiday parade-viewing for guests willing to pay a premium. The European Disney park has introduced a reserved viewing area for Mickey’s Dazzling Christmas Parade, available for 21 Euros (just over $24) per guest. Discounts are not available for this experience.

The premium viewing area is located in front of Plaza Gardens Restaurant and faces Central Plaza. Advance booking is available via the Disneyland Paris Resort app, and only a limited number of slots are available daily. Guests must have valid Disneyland Park access to book.

Disneyland Paris Resort recommends arriving at least 30 minutes before the indicated start time of Mickey’s Dazzling Christmas Parade. The entry point will close ten minutes before that time, and even guests with paid reservations may not be permitted into the viewing area.

The rest of the Mickey’s Dazzling Christmas Parade route remains open for all Disney Park guests. Check the Disneyland Paris Resort app or website for the most up-to-date showtimes and parade route information.
