    Ridiculous .

The ridiculous part is calling that “censorship.” It’s no different than correcting a typo. It adds nothing to the scene, so I wonder why this is even an article. Do better, ITM.

    1. Chris

Actually, it is by the very definition censorship, even correcting a typo is censorship, it may be justifiable, but it is still censorship.

  3. Ron C

Yeah but the prisoner they call a “cracker” is White Power Dave so isn’t that in fact the definition of a cracker?

  4. Jake Smythe

I seriously doubt any crackers would care if it was left in place.

    1. Chris

Absolutely correct. I was born and raised in the south. Cracker was a term embraced by many southerners as it reflected tracing generations of their family’s southern roots and was seen as a sense of pride. Just a thought.

  5. Tim

Does anyone really give a crap? I am Southern and white. Who cares? I didn’t take offense to it, I laughed! Guess it’s a generational thing. If you wake up trying to find something offensive, you will find it. I don’t wake up that way.

Cracker is the equivalent of the N word. So it really is about reverse racism. And it isn’t that we white people want to be oppressed or discriminated against like POC have been. We’re just pointing out the word is wrong and the feelings behind the word are toxic.

    1. Frankie Reza

Yet, the author tries to say it’s use is justified and isn’t racist. It’s not just used against bigoted white people. It’s a derogatory, racist term for a white person, bigoted or not.

      1. Nick

Yeah, and they know they can literally say anything that want about White people and get away with it. You can literally go on a podcast and claim that White people are “a little less,” and then give a racist explanation of why White people are inferior and get in literally not trouble whatsoever. Nick Cannon did it.

    2. Craig F

Exactly. Either censor all racial slurs, or censor none of them… not just the ones that woke America deems offensive. Throw ‘honky’ in there, too.
It’s not “reverse” racism, though… racism is racism, regardless of who it is against.

I come from a long line of Nabisco workers. The term cracker is offensive.

  8. GenZ

Good! I was so offended when I heard this I screamed into the air on my knees. Tears steamed down my face. I was destroyed. I was hurt and humiliated. How dare they call me a C word!!!!

  9. waldo

ANY TYPE N ALL FORMS OF RACISIM ARE WRONG PERIOD!

  10. Walt

We have become a nation of wimps I would have said something else much strnger but I’m sure it would be offensive. I could care less what ANYONE calls me and it is not going to ruin my day. I consider the ignorance and move on. You do not have a right to not be offended. AND when the “N” word – which everyone is now so worried about is bantered about in song and on street corners – it is a false argument.
How is it that toxic racsim was so absent in the 90’s and now its looming everywhere and behind every door. It almost seems that someone or some group out there wants to divide people into bogus goups to divide and conquer. Wonder who that group is??

    1. Nick

Were you going to say pussies?

    2. Nick

If you think racism didn’t exist in the 90s, you’re an idiot.

  11. Kevin

I thought falcon calling AntMan ,”TicTac,” was a little racist.

  12. Social Justice Warrior

Clever title. I thought this article referred to an IRON MAN movie.

    1. Nick

It’s connected to Iron Man 3 and involves an Iron Man character.

  13. Joe

They should focus on the quality of their movies and not going bankrupt from making bad movies instead of this nonsense

  14. M

Of all things to focus on right now…. both Disney and this site…. oof

  15. Rob

I see the white liberal blue haired females are offended AGAIN over a word that nobody cares about. No cracker cares about being called a cracker

  16. Tony

So im a cracker and not offended by this. I find it strange that disney will censor a racial slur but keep blasphemy. They’re worried about offending people instead of God. Get your priorities straight people!

  17. Michael S

You guys dont get it apparently. Disney didn’t censor the word “cracker” because they’re sensitive to whites. They did it IN SPITE of the fact. Read the article – it clearly claims that the term “cracker” was invented by whites to be an equivalent to the “N” word so whites could be victims too. Because of THAT – Disney removed the word. They didn’t want to give whites a claim to victimhood. So when they removed the racist word – Disney did so for racist reasons not because it was the right thing to do.

  18. Benton

Yet you use the slur cracker immediately after saying what it means. Lol. Reverse racism is still just called racism and you sure are a racist. Go outside child.

  19. Me

This blogger sounds like yet another uneducated racist
