Some great acquisitions were made during the Iger era. On the downside, no great blockbusters come to mind like Little Mermaid, Lion King and Beauty and the Beast. The live-action remakes were mixed with only one standout, Cinderella. Snow White was a bust, and Beauty and the Beast uneven. The creative teams regressed under Iger. I will remember Iger mostly for the declining stock price and the breach of trust and abandonment of family entertainment as he pursued the progressive side of the culture war in everything Disney did these past 8 to 10 years.

Very well said about Iger’s legacy. I think he is delusional and says what he does so he can sleep at night. Disney desperately needs a leader who can bring out the best in all aspects of the company. I pray that person exists.

That’s bullshit. What Iger has done and caused would never make him proud ever. The sunk stock and his deceitful hypocritic racist personality contradicts every crap he said.

Walt would have fired Iger years ago and would never have let his company dissolve into the mess it is today.

Walt would be proud?????? That’s a baldface lie if I ever heard one. Igor really thinks Walt would be proud that he turned everything he created into woke, outrageously expensive crud? Igor is completely delusional!!!

Thanks for expressing my thought exactly!

People are getting killed in the theme park. Disney puts out woke, DEI, feminist movies, many of which aren’t family friendly and lose millions of dollars at the box office. Imagineers did away with 2D hand drawn cartoons and can no longer create anything original and worthwhile. Theme park prices are so high only a small portion of America can afford to go. Disney tries to own or buy into partnership with all the streaming media that exists just so their name is there. Iger bends knee to a bunch of squalling blue jackasses when a h*teful man is taken off the air for saying what he did about a good Christian man.

Iger: Walt would be so proud of me. 🥲

Walt would be spinning so fast in his grave it would cause an earthquake so powerful the earth would split apart and swallow both theme parks. And Iger’s trillion dollar house.

BULLSHIT!!! Selling my stocks the first of the New Year.

Iger is not only lying to the people but to himself. Walt Disney would NOT be proud of what that man has done to this company. Walt built it on good clean family values and morals. It has since been degraded to a woke filled, cooperate greed that only chooses to cater to a small portion of the country (the leftists). If Walt could see his company from heaven, and see the movies they put out, (especially seeing his beloved Snow White being shamed by that blankety-blank-blankety-blank remake) he would cry so hard it would cause a great flood.

No Walt would not be proud. He would’ve named Iger the Terrible in front of the HUAC and had him blacklisted from Hollywood. I look forward to undoing and retconning the whole Iger era when I take over Disney and make it great again. Every theme park attraction that opened under him will be closed and reverted back to its previous state. Disney under me will go backwards to the 20th century and back to asking “What would Walt do?” to make decisions again. No that philosophy did not almost bankrupt Disney in the 80s but if the pro-Iger crowd screams that I’m running Disney into the ground and that it cannot survive as an independent company and studio without Pixar, Marvel, Lucasfilm, ABC, etc then it will be music to my ears. Disney under me will be surviving on its name alone and it can. I will be praised by the purists and traditionalists as they are Disney’s true audience.

BS!!! It’s like Jim Allen of Hard Rock International saying that they respect the Mirage volcano in Vegas.

Hard Rock destroyed the volcano and is now building a giant guitar 🖕🤬🖕

On top of everything said by everybody. You destroyed the rivers of America. Walt would have never done that. Also, you took splash mountain out for woke mountain. We have no magical express. I’m paying for fast passes when I never did before. The red head is out of Pirates of the Caribbean. Fronter land is a joke now. Dude you are like the complete opposite of Walt. Your Legacy is the lowest point people ever looked at Disney. My god I don’t think people will ever look at what you did fondly. All of it needs to get changed back.

The Hell he would!! He would be disgusted at what has happened to his company!

Walt is rolling over in his grave at the hatchet job that been done to his park. They might as well remove the name Disney all together. Its just another ridiculously expensive customer last dirty smelly amusement like all the rest. There’s no magic, nothing special. You have employees that act and dress like they work at a carnival, the food is expensive slop now. The discrimination against the disabled just tops it off. How they have managed to get away with essentially picking and choosing who they deem disabled today and coming just short of forcing the disabled to pay for equal access and accommodations. A law suit will eventually catch up with albeist Iger.

So Walt would be proud of him pricing out most of middle America? Narcissistic and delusional.
