As if they and Disney dont make enough money off of everyone already!!! As much as I love Universal, maybe its just time to go somewhere else for vacation and forget about these money-grubbing parks!!!

They’ll end up losing money because by buying express passes you dont realize what’s actually being payed per ride to were if I had to pay that much more for one ride id just say forget it. It’s high enough as it is. I should know the family just got back from there.
Constant increasing greed will ruin the theme parks. I have no desire to go due to pricing. They are pricing average people out and I doubt they can make it purely on the high rollers.
As a family that stays on-site and gets fast passes as part of the cost of the room, if I have to pay on top on top of that to have “fast pass access” I won’t stay there.
The reason I stopped going to Disney World is because I felt they did absolutely nothing for their guest that stayed on property at one of their resorts. Universal Studios was great and their express passes was like Disney who? If Universal Studios starts to mirror Disney World I will stop going there to.
I don’t remember Hagrid or Velociraptor being part of the express pass, if the new system is only to open up an express option for those 2 then so be it.
The simplicity of the express pass system was one of the reasons we are happy to shell out the money for the universal stay and avoid Disney. I think this will be a huge mistake. It would affect our decision to go.
It’s not just the pure greed of these companies, which is a huge part of it.. What makes It worse is that at Disney you not only have to shell out money , but you have to spend all day on your cell phone. The magic that once existed there is all gone now. It looks like universal is going to follow the same sad path.

Exactly!!! This country is becoming an Oligarchy… run by the rich, for the rich but we will be the ones working to pay the majority of the taxes that the rich will find loopholes to avoid. The rich will have all the fun while the rest of work to support their pleasure.

“Will Soon Charge”….that’s a bit of a stretch. They have not announced anything regarding adding this option to Hagrids or to the parks in general. They are testing it in a limited fashion on two rides (that from what I’ve heard, don’t really need it to start with). Anything behind that fact is pure fearmongering and speculation.

Our beautiful park cannot go the same way as the Rat down the street!!!
I remember when Disney was “magical”. You went with wonder vs financial woe. Once it became a money grab, I stopped going. Then Universal stepped out in front and they grabbed the wonder. People are reaching a breaking point. The Texas State Fair saw nearly a 1/2 million drop in attendance this year because of $30 parking and $27 turkey legs. They were panicking to get people back in the gates. There were days where the employees outnumbered guests. We speak loudest with our dollars. There’s a whole world to explore for vacation. The magic stops? So does my spend.
No ones going to like that. People will be less likely to want to come if they have to pay for everything. It’s bad enough Disney is doing it. I mean if it gives them more money if they need it sure. But I wouldn’t want to pay for every single fast past ride just to skip waiting in line.
