The Toy Story franchise should have ended after #3. The fourth movie was not up to par with the others and I have no interest in a fifth iteration. It’s a shame Disney does not know when to end a wonderfully crafted story on a high note rather than going for the cash grab.

So yes there has always been girl bosses for over 100 years in Disney films although they did also used to be portrayed as damsels in distress which has been done away. But nope girl bosses are always going to be in Disney films and other non Disney films so I’ve come to accept it as the norm for over 40 years since the 1980s I was born in. But yes I do get weary of Disney remakes and sequels because it’s too much for me to watch. I usually watch older films.

The fact that another female is being placed in the lead over the two main male characters is a major turn off. What are they going to do, have Jessie save Buzz and the other toys from Lilypad? Forget it. And the addition of a talking potty training toy is extremely weird. A new line of high tech buzzes sounds uninteresting to me as well. And if Andy reappears, what’s he going to be married to; a trans man, a black or Mexican woman? I don’t trust Disney.
