I think it’s a good idea to go with cash cards after the one Disney was robbed by the person that robbed them and then went into the water as a a scuba diver.
I am not in favor of this policy, and it should be illegal. Every paper bill is clearly marked “this note is legal tender for all debts, public and private.” The Federal government is already too deeply involved in every transaction we make, and we should not be giving them more opportunity to pry into our personal business.
We like Cosmic Ray’s too!
I’m not in favor of only cashless, although that is what I mostly use. I mostly use my Disney rewards and my Disney Visa. But I realize that fees can be added to these so much easier without even really noticing as there are already taxes added. As someone said earlier all bills say they are legal tender.

I personally prefere using cash, cash is king!! Especially if power goes out, cash registers are down,etc you can still easily pay. I understand they are trying really hard to strictly electronic and the swipe n go may be a tiny bit faster but some of prefere using cash and that option shouldn’t be taken away or denied, especially being legal tender. Hopefully they reverse this decision in near future.

WDW must have found a problem with cash. Perhaps some cash is not being turned in and inventory is not matching up to the sales. This is likely the most likely reason.
We know how to budget, use coupons, gift cards in everyday life. Sometimes using a card can keep a good grasp on spending and a quick check out.
Choices = Freedom
Keep the options, ditch cashless society.

I am so sorry that this practice is going to start. I will say the amount I will be spending will stop considerably‼️

Keep cash as an option! Don’t go completely cashless!

Places that don’t take cash don’t get my patronage.
