I definitely would like to see Henry Cavill return as Superman.
To me, he is absolutely perfect for the roll and I just don’t understand the reasoning why perfection needs to be played with. When you have a good thing – leave it be.

Cavil was the perfect Superman, but I understand that things do change. Maybe he just didn’t want to stay typecast in the role, maybe he just wanted to mov on. Maybe there were even contract issues that couldn’t be worked through. Things chage, and we move on.
That being said, Corensweat may be a decent actor, and may even be able to play Superman passably, but not with Gunn at the wheel. Not that Gunn is a bad director either…he just doesn’t have the style for this sort of thing.
This whole thing would be like asking Mel Brooks to direct a new Captain America movie, starring Steve Harvey…It may get done, but it ain’t gonna be pretty!

However i digress, Gunn’s Superman was the best movie he has ever made! However it is not the best portrayal of the character! Supermannis one of the most powerful heroes on Earth. Yet Gunn made him weak and beaten bloodied in the 1st 5 mins of the film! Superman is invunerable! Who could do this to him? A clone? Wow kinda weird.. how could the clone be stronger the source material? Gunn took Superman and made him m less than. Now the new actor is ok …. he did the best he could with the mayerial he had to work with. Gunn needs to focus on Batman and Wonder Woman roght now his obsession with the House of El is too much. Supergirl should never have got a film before Wonder Woman or Batman! Wonder Woman’s debut film in the old D.C did 265 mil more than Gunn’s Superman! Why is a woner Woman film not a prority? Strange.
