This is simple….beyond trying to price out “out of staters”, Disney has been on a mission to appeal to “Wall Street Dads” for a while now. Just look at the Golden Oaks community. Homes in the millions??? Pretty obvious. The failed Galactic Starcruiser…almost $6000 for a 3 night stay? Disney could call it an “immersive experience” all they want. What average family is going to be able to shell out that kind of money, AND buy park tickets, and food, and extras? It’s nice that they give us Floridians a break….but it’s still a bit pricey for the average family. Walt would be appalled by the direction his company had gone
What is profoundly ironic about Disney kowtowing to Florida residents is that the government they elected in Florida has been engaged in a long-term effort to kill Disney.
