As a former cast member (2009-2010} who worked at the “World of Dianey” store, I had a young Japanese cast member whose internship was over. She wanted to buy gifts for her family with a “Made in America” label on it. She asked me why everything was marked “Made in China”. It’s because everything WAS & IS “Made in China”. It used to be that the cost of labor in China was cheaper when compared to the cost of labor here in the US of A. It STILL IS cheaper.
Our president recently raised the tariff to 100% on all Chinese goods. Don’t like the price increases?
Complain to our government about it.
