Why? As long as a kid doesn’t fall behind, what’s the problem? I know when I was in school, kids going on a trip got their assignments from the teachers and did them on vacation.
And as far as truency, many parents don’t even know their kid skipped out when or if they got a phone call from the school. Some kids get to school then skip out. Some who walk, will just go somewhere else. At some point, it has to be the kid’s responsibility as well.
