Parents fault not Disney to babysit your child I use to see parents walking way ahead of there kids not caring what they r doing g one time we saw a man smack his kid so hard bc he didn’t want to wait in line parents need to be responsible for there kids and watch them

I see parents all the time with AU kids who have them right next to them, sometimes with like harnesses on but they are watching them CLOSELY!! It’s not Disney’s responsibility to make sure that the walls are tall enough so people can’t get over them. What were the parents doing that they couldn’t watch their child? We took our 3 year old granddaughter who is very hyper and we watched her ALL the time!! We knew exactly where she was at all times. If you know your child may run off, then YOU need to make sure you have a way to keep them safe. Disney can only do so much.

It’s not up to Disney to cater for a few, putting up different types of fencing my spoil the look and feeling of the areas.
I know kids will be kids ,but it is up to us to watch our own kids

The people that do this…..Climb out of the boat on “Pirates” or “Small World”….Scale fences, etc……It always seems like a good idea to get “fully immersed” until They see all the wires and gears and pulleys and the backs of lightbulbs….What a downer, plus You’re getting banned from the park.

I take it that none of you have ever been with a group of people where other rude people cut right into any space possible and cause your group to be broken up. Maybe it’s possible that that’s what happened here. Maybe the boy was somehow separated from the parents by other people and the parents were looking for him in the crowd instead of in the water. People can’t easily be separated by other people and it happens all the time. It’s happened to me even when I’ve been holding my kids’ hands.
