Finally a smart move by Disney, guest at the parks will be able to purchase what they want. While people that live far away will be able too purchase what they want at the original price. Win for everyone except resellers.
This is a fantastic move by Disney!!!! It has been a long time catastrophe for an avid collector of Disney merchandise like myself. I have been unable to complete collections because the reselling price is so high. This gives a fair and equitable way to collect merchandise. I love it!!!
It wouldn’t be that hard for them to fully limit sales of exclusive merch. Tie sales to tickets or passes. Only two items per ticket PERIOD, not per day, but in total.
Except same thing seems to be happening online since looking for the Donald since you didn’t have a link or pic, just wanted to see for curiosity sake, all the links were resellers for twice that price or more.
This is a great idea, I was there the first week of F & W, my daughter (47) is a big Figment collector. I wanted to get her the pot mitt. They were sold out and told me they probably won’t get more. The same thing happened years ago with a Dooney & Burke Figment purse, it was on eBay for twice the price.
okay sure it all sounds good BUT!! The resellers will have gotten themselves BOTS and then they still BUY UP EVERYTHING online is all they will do! It happens each and every single Tuesday in the parks as well as each Tuesday online, EVERYTHING IS ALL SOLD OUT IN A MATTER OF LITERALLY NO TIME AT ALL. EACH AND EVERY SINGLE WEEK! SORRY DISNEY THERE IS NO STOPPING THE RESELLERS!!!!!!

We will have to see how things play out. Online sales has never stopped resellers yet. Doesn’t slow them down either.

They could limit one per guest if they forced the sale to happen with the Disneyworld app. Lock them out from ordering again at any other location.
