Credit: Disney / CanvaThe big Disney story this week was the increase in prices across the parks. Disney World and Disneyland saw increases in just about every aspect of the parks, including ticket prices, food, souvenirs, hotel rooms, and Lightning Lane passes.
It’s not unusual for Disney to increase prices around this time, given that it’s the end of the fiscal year and guests are starting to think about their 2026 trips. What took everyone by surprise was that Disney chose to announce them all at once, and that the prices for a single-day ticket at Disney World during peak days hit $200 for the first time ever.
Disney World’s annual passes weren’t exempt from these price increases either. All four levels of Disney World’s annual passes saw an increase in prices, but then Disney World did something unexpected. Disney offered massive discounts on Annual Pass renewals, offsetting most cost increases.
For Disney World Annual Passholders, you can renew your pass up to 60 days before it expires and 30 days after it expires, but Disney just gave passholders an incentive to renew as soon as their pass is up. Here’s a look at the four levels and the price changes.
Disney Incredi-Pass
For Disney World travelers coming from outside Florida, this is your pass. Disney increased the cost of an Incredi-Pass by $80 or 5.2 Percent. The discount for the Incredi-Pass remains at $250.
So, the base price of an Incredi-Pass is $1,629, while the Annual Pass renewal fee is $1,379. That’s a 15.3 percent discount for those renewing their passes as opposed to people buying new passes.
Disney Sorcerer Pass
The Disney Sorcerer pass increased by $20 or 1.9 percent. However, the renewal discount also increased by $20 from $150 to $170, covering the increased cost.
The Sorcerer pass’s base price is $1,099, while the renewal price is $929, a 15.5 percent discount.
Disney Pirate Pass
The Pirate Pass increased by $40 or 4.8 percent. However, the discount remained at $120, not increasing to cover the new cost of the pass.
The Pirate pass’s base price is $869, while the renewal price is $749. That’s a 13.8 percent discount.
Disney Pixie Dust Pass
Disney’s Pixie Dust Pass increased by $20 or 4.3 percent. However, the renewal discount also increased by $20 from $70 to $90, covering the cost of the increase.
The base price of the Pixie Dust Pass is $489, while the renewal price is $399, a 18.4 percent discount.
These changes greatly encourage current Annual Pass Holders to renew their passes, which tells us that Disney World has recently seen quite a few people canceling their passes. Whatever the reason, annual passholders will get the discount.
